Problem solving skills is important concept for everyone since one is likely to encounter problems in daily life both at home, schools or at work. Effective communication plays critical role when handling problems (Suter et al., 2009). I did not take time to talk with the student to identify what was the problem. It has been reported that the first step in problem solving is defining the problem. Identifying the real issues helps in dealing with the problem more effectively rather than its symptoms (Stephen Dixon, 2008). By not having conversation with the student, I was not able to identify what frustrates him. Communication could have brought issues to light that could have helped me adopt strategies to handle the issue with care. Another critical component of problem solving that could have worked best is prevention rather than blame. It is reported that disciplinary actions against employees with faults may not be effective since accountability may not necessarily means initiating punishment. I believe most mistakes from the students are unintentional and with this case the student did not intent to skip evening preps. Accountability in problem solving helps in taking responsibility for the actions to ensure that the problem do not occur in future (Rothstein, 2009). I could have involved school administration probably the counsellor to encourage the student prevent the problem from occurring again. Another important concept in problem solving is goal setting. The overall goals are known to lead everyone to common agreement and helps in accommodating different views (Frensch Funke, 2014). Explaining to student the overall impacts of his action to his academic performance. Sitting down and having meaningful conversation help in building strong relationship for resolving issues. If I encounter similar problem in future in organization, I will be able to initiate strategies to help employee come up with appropriate solution. Effective leadership that is based on transparent communication helps in problem solving process. His disillusionment with the Pope followed his short visit to Rome in 1510 (Broome, 5) which became reflected in his preachings. In 1512 Luther was made a Doctor of Divinity at Wittenberg University, and in 1516, he was asked to preach the Gospel as was the truth to him, in a large number of monasteries in the Thuringian area. Luther condemned the Catholic Church’s collection of Papal Indulgences in 1517, (Bainton, 35) and his works against Papal ideology, including his 95 Theses, resulted in his excommunication from the Church in 1521. Following his appearance before the Diet of Worms, and the ban on placed on Luther’s works, Luther was hidden behind the secure walls of Wartburg Castle. At Wartburg, Luther continued his prolific writing and continued to influence the reformation occurring in the Church in Wittenberg retur ning to Wittenberg in March 1522. On 25th June 1525, Luther married a former nun, Katherina Von Bara and together they had 6 children. The Luther household was in the Augustinian monastery in Wittenberg and also included Luther’s sister’s 6 children. From there, Lucas continued his reformation against the Papal doctrines through his preaching and writing.
